While it is certainly unfortunate to announce that I wasn’t chosen as a Fulbrighter to Norway this year, it is in any case an honor to have been an alternate/semi-finalist. Knowing that my work is considered viable and productive is all that matters, really.
The better news is that I have accepted a job as a designer at Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey Landscape Architects in Mill Valley, California. We just arrived to the Bay Area this week and have loved what we’ve experienced so far. I am pleasantly surprised to be back in my home state so quickly after graduation and even more elated that it is in such a magnificent part of the state.
Now that I have finished my degree (you may call me Master Phillip if you so please), I will hopefully have more time to dedicate to the laundry list of pursuits I plan to undertake. Look out for more steady documentation of the work!
